Hello there internet.

My name is Beckie. I’m a late-twenty-something childless unmarried administrative assistant for a real estate company in NYC. I live in Astoria and commute everyday to the Upper West Side so I can help people who help people who sell and buy houses. And by houses I mean apartments, and the occasional brownstone.

I started this blog because after years of performing and waiting tables to pay those bills I finally landed my dream job of entering data and making copies {wry wit intended}. Whilst I find the repetition of administrative work strangely soothing like a rocking chair, I missed the creative outlet and interaction a “creative” profession entails. This blog is a jumble of things I dream about whilst I go about my life in my cubicle. I enjoy home DIY projects, mild crafting, repurposing furniture, painting walls, yoga, office supplies, shelter magazines and blogs, architecture, and above all, the internet.
